We make jewellery that means something and still feels easy to live in. This is how we think about it.

How it began

Most crystal jewellery fell into two camps. We wanted a third.

Channel Crystals started with a simple observation. Beautiful crystal pieces often felt disposable, and the meaningful ones often looked too much like a costume. We couldn't find a brand that sat quietly in the middle.

So we made one. Small batches. Proper materials. Stones chosen for how they actually feel in the hand, not just how they photograph. Pieces you can wear with a white tee or to a wedding, and not think about it either way.

Today we're a tiny studio in Singapore making jewellery for the people who used to feel left out of this world. You don't have to believe in crystals to wear ours. You just have to like how they make you feel.

A note from the founder

I wanted a piece that carried something. Without shouting about it.

I'm Amanda. I started Channel Crystals after a year of quietly collecting stones on every trip I took, and feeling slightly silly about it. Rose quartz on a bedside table. Clear quartz tucked in a drawer. A small pyrite cube on my desk at work.

The stones stayed. The silliness faded. I realised what I actually wanted was to wear them. Not as a statement, but as a reminder. A small private thing that only I needed to know about.

That's what every piece in the studio is designed to be. Quiet on the outside. Meaningful on the inside. Yours.

Stones that are what we say they are.

Every crystal is checked by us before it's set. If we can't trace where it came from, it doesn't make it into a piece. No mystery stones. No wishful labelling.

Metals that won't let you down.

14k gold-fill and recycled sterling silver only. Hypoallergenic, safe for sensitive skin, and built to survive Singapore humidity. No plating that flakes after six months.

Small batches, on purpose.

Everything is hand-finished in our Singapore studio in small runs. If a piece sells out, you wait. We'd rather do this slowly and properly than quickly and not.

Sourcing

Where our stones come from, and how we check them.

We work with three small suppliers in Brazil, India, and Madagascar, each chosen after visits and long relationships. None of our stones come from large unnamed wholesalers, and none are dyed, heated, or treated in ways we wouldn't be happy to explain.

Rose quartzMinas Gerais, Brazil. Small family-run operation. Untreated, natural colour.
Clear quartzBrazil. Hand-selected for clarity and terminated points where possible.
CitrineRio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Natural citrine only, never heat-treated amethyst.
Black tourmalineMadagascar. Cooperative-sourced, fair price paid at origin.
ObsidianMexico. Sourced through a Singapore-based importer with over twenty years of trade.
